What I love to do..
The constant sound of steps on the pavement, heavy breathing, but most of all, the euphoric feeling during and after the race. Running has been one of my hobbies for almost a year now. I started running over quarantine, and I haven’t stopped since then. Being on the cross country and track team has helped me make so many new friends, learn new things about myself, and improved my running skills. Personally, running can be a therapy. Being able to go on a run, listen to music and just think for a solid amount of time is so therapeutic. Throughout my family, there is a long line of runners. It was expected of me that I would continue running. I was at first unsure, but I quickly enjoyed working hard and slowly getting better. I am so happy that I have been able to find running, but mostly the people I have met, the progress I have made, and the hobby that will last a lifetime. |
